At the heart of CMF is Chris, the owner and driving force behind the business. With years of experience working in the mining industry, Chris spent much of his career in drilling, a role that often felt more about breaking things down than building them up. But deep down, Chris has always been a creator. With an imaginative mind and a natural talent for problem-solving, he sought out challenges that allowed him to innovate and design.
After a long period in mining, Chris decided it was time for a change. He wanted to give back to the world. What started as a side project, quickly grew into something much bigger. Word spread about the quality and craftsmanship of his work, and soon, Chris found himself taking on more projects, from large signage contracts, to custom canopy builds to mining fabrication and beyond.
Today, CMF is a full-fledged workshop with a talented team of fabricators, off-shore engineers, and problem-solvers. We’ve expanded our capabilities to create a wide range of products. Every project is a testament to our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
